Product design leader, currently Lead Product Designer at JBPB Offshore (HikeOn), previously 3i Infotech for six years. I work in the messy middle of enterprise complexity: design systems, AI-native workflows, design-to-code pipelines. Below are the positions I hold, how I use AI in practice, and the domains I've spent real time inside.
Complexity is a structural problem, not a user problem.
AI must earn trust, not assume it.
The IA restructure no stakeholder wants to do is almost always the most valuable design decision on the project.
A design system is a product, not a deliverable.
Collaboration is a design skill. Not a soft skill.
Record → transcribe → LLM-assisted theme extraction → manually challenge every theme against raw notes. A 6-hour research session produces a structured insight document in under 2 hours. I use this on every project.
From a validated workflow map, I use an LLM to generate first-draft user stories, edge cases, and acceptance criteria. Then I refine with product and engineering in 45 minutes. This replaced a 3-hour grooming meeting.
I maintain a structured prompt template library for UI microcopy, each prompt includes the component, the user's emotional state, and the desired outcome. First drafts are 80% usable. I edit every line before handoff.
6 competing ERP platforms mapped in 3 hours using an AI-assisted research framework I built. Previously a day and a half. The saved time goes into user interviews. Not more desk research.
Before handoff, every component goes through an AI-assisted WCAG check. Not to replace manual judgment, to catch contrast failures, focus order issues, and missing aria labels before the developer sees the file.
Beyond using AI in process, designing it into a live product. Smart inventory alerts, dynamic pricing suggestions, demand forecasting, customer churn scoring, AI-powered catalogue search, and a full AI-agent RFQ portal. All live with real users at HikeOn.
Enterprise design is different. The stakes are operational. The users are professionals. The complexity is real. I've spent 15+ years not simplifying these domains, understanding them.
